And it’s understandable and not boring.
You talk to her more often -
You will become four times smarter. ( Book)

2 Presenter:
Let's imagine, at least for a moment,
That suddenly we lost magazines and books,
That people don't know what a poet means,
That there is no Cheburashka, no Hottabych.
It's as if no one has ever been in this world,
I’ve never heard of Moidodyr,
That there is no Dunno, a liar - klutzes,
That there is no Aibolit, and no Uncle Styopa.
It’s probably impossible to imagine something like this?
So hello, smart, kind word!
Let books come into your home as friends!
Read for the rest of your life - gain your mind!
(Author of poems: Yu. Entin)

Let's start with the riddles that S.Ya.Marshak wrote for children.

What is before us:
Two shafts behind the ears,
Before our eyes on the wheel
And a nurse on the nose. ( Glasses)

He makes noise in the field and in the garden,
But it won't get into the house.
And I'm not going anywhere
As long as he goes. ( Rain)

- S.Ya. Marshak, a famous children's writer, was born on November 3, 1887 in the city of Voronezh in the family of a factory technician. He began writing poetry very early, when he did not even know how to write. He composed his first poem at the age of four.

Let's listen to some of them.

Children take pictures depicting characters from poems, go out and stand scattered. They read poetry. Each child recites one poem from the “Children in a Cage” series.

Kids in a cage
Early, early we get up
We call the watchman loudly:
- Watchman, watchman, hurry up
Go out and feed the animals!
At lunch, at lunch
We don't chat with our neighbor,
We forget about everything
And we chew, chew, chew.
But now it gets cold.
Strangers are leaving the garden.
The lights are burning behind the fence,
And we are left alone.

Where did you have lunch, sparrow?
-Where did you have lunch, sparrow?
- In the zoo with the animals.
First I dined behind bars at the lion's.
Took some refreshment from the fox. I drank some water at the walrus's.
I ate carrots from an elephant. I ate millet with the crane.
I stayed with a rhinoceros and ate a little bran.
I attended a feast with tailed kangaroos.
I was at a festive dinner at the shaggy bear's place.
And a toothy crocodile almost swallowed me.

Two cats
Once upon a time there were two cats with eight legs and two tails.
Gray cats fought among themselves.
Their gray tails rose like a trumpet.
They fought day and night.
Shreds flew away,
And left from the cats
Only the tips of the tails.

Ball
My cheerful, ringing ball, where did you run off to?
Yellow, red, blue, I can’t keep up with you!
I smacked you with my palm, you jumped and stomped loudly.
You jumped into the corner and back fifteen times in a row.
And then you rolled and didn’t come back.
He rolled into the garden and reached the gate.
I rolled under the gate and ran to the turn.
There I got under a wheel, burst, slammed - that's all!

Description of the game journey

A game trip can become a fragment of a lesson or extracurricular activity. It is possible to conduct a library lesson.

Before the start of the journey, the teacher briefly talks about the poems of S. Ya. Marshak.

Teacher: Famous poet Samuel Marshak- author of wonderful fairy tales, plays, riddles, tongue twisters and counting rhymes. Samuil Yakovlevich loved children very much. And the children loved him because he knew how to be friends with them: he came up with funny games, taught them to write poetry, and act out plays.

This is what he looked like. (Showing a portrait) This is a portrait by the artist May Petrovich Miturich.

They gave the shoes to the elephant.

He took one shoe

And he said: “We need wider ones.”

And not two, but all four! (Answers from the guys)

Teacher: That's right, “Children in a cage.” There are many children in the cages of Marshakov’s “Zoo”. One of them is “Elephant”. What about the other one? Please guess:

Picking flowers is easy and simple

Small children

But to the one who is so tall,

It's not easy to pick a flower!

Of course it's Giraffe!

Who is the nanny rocking in this passage and what is the name of the poem?

The mother mouse ran

Call Aunt Horse as a nanny:

- Come to us, Aunt Horse,

Rock our baby.

That's right, a mouse, the little hero of "The Tale of the Stupid Mouse."

And for whom is such a bed prepared?

- Here's a soft feather bed for your back,

On top of the feather bed

A clean sheet.

Here's to your ears

White pillows,

Down duvet

And a handkerchief at the top. (Students' answers)

Teacher: Of course, for a kitten, for “Mustachioed and Striped”.

This is what Samuil Yakovlevich Marshak called this poem.

And now I’ll read you a funny counting rhyme. What fairy tale is this fragment from?

- Well, we'll play, but first

Let's do the math:

I am an animal

And you are an animal...

Well done! Yes, this excerpt is also from a fairy tale, but from “The Tale of the Smart Mouse.”

You know the poems of Samuil Yakovlevich Marshak well. They are easy to remember. Is not it? His poems are like a song. Maybe you noticed that the words at the end of the line sound similar: “animal” - “ferret”; “to the elephant” - “one”; “high” - “flower”; "Mister" - "Twister". Such a selection, when two words or the endings of two words sound the same or almost the same, is called rhyme. Let's listen to Marshak's poem "Little Fairies" and together we will find rhymes in it. But first, tell me, who are called fairies? Of course, sorceresses. So...

Three very cute fairies

Sat on a bench

And, having eaten a bun with butter,

We managed to get so oily,

Why did you wash these fairies?

From three garden watering cans.

Do you think these are really sorceresses sitting on the bench? They're just little girls! But we are looking for a rhyme. I read it again. Which words sound almost the same? (Possible answers from children) That’s right, “fairies” - “bench”. What else? “Oil” - “to get oily.” They also coincide almost entirely.

I’ll read another poem by Marshak, “Conversation.” The poet translated it, like the poem “Little Fairies,” from English. Try to find rhyming words yourself, i.e. rhyme:

Aunt Trot and the cat

Sat by the window

Sat next to each other in the evening

Chat a little.

Trot asked: “Kiss-kiss-kiss,”

Can you catch rats?

“Purr,” said the cat,

After being silent for a while.

Where's the rhyme here? Are looking for! Of course, “cat” - “window” - “a little”; "kiss" - "rat". Well done! We quickly learned to find a rhyme. Then we’ll try to come up with rhymes ourselves for the words “babies”, “gloves”, “wax”, “close”. (Suggested answer: “babies” - “in a cage”, “gloves” - “kittens”, “wax” - “blot”, “close” - “pussy”.)

And they completed this task. We just need to always remember a little secret: the words that we select for rhyme must definitely make sense. Not like Dunno. Remember how he chose a rhyme for the word “tow.” He had both “shmaklya” and “whacklya”. But such words do not exist at all.

Mysteries of Grandfather Marshak

Teacher: Tired? No? Then let's listen to the riddles. They were invented by Samuil Yakovlevich Marshak. I read and you guess.

What is before us:

Two shafts behind the ears.

Before our eyes on the wheel

And the saddle on the nose? (Glasses)

We always walk together,

Similar as brothers.

We are at dinner - under the table,

And at night - under the bed. (Boots)

He makes noise in the field and in the garden,

But it won't get into the house.

And I'm not going anywhere

As long as he goes. (Rain)

They beat him with a hand and a stick.

Nobody feels sorry for him.

Why are they beating the poor guy?

And for the fact that he is inflated! (Ball)

We walk at night

We walk during the day

But nowhere

We won't leave.

We hit well

Each hour.

And you, friends,

In conclusion, you can invite students to compose several quatrains, for example: “I am walking through the berries, leading a friend by the hand.”

The competition for the best drawing “My Favorite Hero!” left no one indifferent; today the classroom is decorated with your drawings. The result of our work to familiarize ourselves with the work of this wonderful poet and translator will be a game.
S. Ya. Marshak did a lot of good for children. He created theaters and workshops for them, and helped orphans. And how many interesting fairy tales and poems Samuil Yakovlevich wrote for children! Not only you, but also your grandparents could not imagine their childhood without the fairy tales “The Cat's House”, “The Twelve Months”, “The Tale of the Stupid Mouse”. Today we will meet again with the work of Marshak, but first we will divide into two teams - “Lion Cub” and “Tiger Cub” (representing the captains).
Let's start the game! For each correct answer, the team receives one token (points), and the jury will attach them to the stand. The team with the most tokens at the end of the game wins.
