Omelet with sausages and tomatoes in a slow cooker. Omelette with sausage in a slow cooker

1. In a bowl, mix eggs with cream, adding salt, pepper and spices to your taste. I mix with a whisk, it’s faster and the mass becomes more homogeneous.

2. Cut the sausages into half rings and place them in the egg mixture.
3. Grate the cheese on a fine grater and also add it to the omelette mixture. Mix.

4. Grease the multicooker bowl with butter (you don’t have to grease it, since the omelette shouldn’t stick in any case, but butter will give the finished omelette an even more pronounced creamy taste and aroma).
5. Pour the prepared omelette mixture into the bowl. Close the lid and turn on the “baking” mode for 20-25 minutes.
6. After the completion signal, turn off the heating and do not open the multicooker lid. Leave the omelette there for another 5-10 minutes, and then you can remove it using a steaming container or simply by turning it over onto a large plate.
I usually serve an omelet with pickles (in this case I made a quick salad of marinated gogoshar, canned green peas and corn), sprinkled with green onions.

The omelet in the slow cooker is ready!

Omelette is a recommended breakfast dish, which is why many people start their morning with it. Eggs contain the essential protein your body needs to get a good start to the day. Well, you can diversify the omelette with any additives to your taste. Since today we are going to cook a steam omelette in a slow cooker, sausages will be an excellent addition to it.

An omelette with sausages in a steamed slow cooker does not require any unique culinary skills; anyone can repeat the recipe. As with any classic omelet, we will add milk to ours. If desired, sausages can be replaced with boiled sausage, but know that you can steam omelettes with any fillings - tomatoes, cheese, etc. Well, let's get down to the process.. I cook a steam omelette in my Mirta MC2211 multicooker, but any other model will do the job just as well. If you don’t have the “Steam” mode, use any other one (porridge, soup, multicooker, etc.).

Cooking method

  1. Pour in the milk, add salt and ground pepper if desired. Whisk, but not too vigorously. Stirring with a fork will be enough.

  2. Peel the sausages, cut into slices and add to the egg-milk mixture. Stir. At the same stage, you can optionally add greens to the omelette.

  3. Pour a couple of glasses of warm water into the bowl. Line the steam container with cling film and place it on the multicooker bowl. Pour in the egg mixture. Cook in the “Steam” mode for 25-30 minutes.

  4. Check that the omelette inside is not left uncooked, then carefully remove the steamer container using a towel or oven mitts and turn it over onto a plate. Cut into portions and serve for breakfast along with fresh vegetables, herbs, a glass of kefir or fermented baked milk.

This sausage omelette, steamed in a slow cooker, is very tasty and healthy. It can be used in dietary and baby food. You can also prepare steam omelettes in silicone or ceramic molds. We have already shared several options for such omelettes. Use different fillings, experiment and tell us about your impressions. Bon appetit!

Step 1: prepare the sausage.

So, take an appetizing boiled sausage, maybe with pieces of lard or meat, the choice depends on taste, and remove the plastic artificial or food casing from it. Then we put this product on a cutting board and cut it into cubes, strips or layers 1 to 2 centimeters thick.

Step 2: prepare the greens.

Step 3: prepare chicken eggs.

Then we place the required number of chicken eggs in a deep, clean bowl, trying to make sure that the shells do not get in, which are very difficult to remove from the slippery white. Then whisk them until lightly fluffy for 20-30 seconds. After this, using a measuring cup, pour in a little whole pasteurized milk, season everything to taste with salt and beat again until fluffy for about a minute.

Step 4: prepare the omelette with sausage in a slow cooker.

Now insert the plug of the multicooker into the socket and lower the Teflon bowl into its recess. We put pieces of boiled sausage, chopped herbs there and fill them with beaten egg-milk mixture.

Close the kitchen appliance with a tight-fitting lid and install “Baking” mode for 25 minutes at a temperature of 180 degrees Celsius, and in the meantime you can take care of some unobtrusive side dish.

When the machine finishes working and notifies you with a corresponding beeping or buzzing signal, carefully open its lid and let the steam escape. Leave the omelette there for a few more minutes so that it cools slightly. Next, we lower the special steamer basket onto it, which comes with the multicooker. Carefully turn the bowl upside down and lift it up.

The fragrant food should end up on the surface of the basket; if this does not happen, lightly pry it with a silicone kitchen spatula, but this happens very rarely, mostly pies, casseroles or omelettes come off the Teflon very easily. Divide the finished dish into portions, place it on plates and go ahead and taste it!

Step 5: serve the omelet with sausage in a slow cooker.

An omelette with sausage in a slow cooker is served hot as a second main course. After cooking, it is cut into 2, 3 or 4 servings, distributed on plates and served, first garnished with sprigs of fresh herbs, along with a light, unobtrusive side dish, for example, marinades, pickles, salad or fresh vegetable slices and, of course, homemade bread. Enjoy delicious, simple and healthy food!
Bon appetit!

5 minutes before the omelette is completely ready, you can sprinkle hard cheese chopped on a fine or medium grater, but in this case you will need to divide it into portions directly in the bowl, otherwise the melted dairy product will stick to the multicooker basket;

Very often, sweet salad peppers or boiled carrots chopped into small cubes are added to the products specified in the recipe; canned peas or corn are also added;

As you can see, this dish is seasoned only with salt, but if desired, use any spices that are suitable for egg dishes, for example, hyssop, dried celery, fennel, all types of ground pepper, or others.

Most often in the morning for breakfast we fry eggs or an omelet. It can be prepared quickly and easily. And so that the dish doesn’t get boring, you can add various toppings - sausage, tomatoes, mushrooms, sprinkle it all with grated cheese.

In general, after reading this recipe you will no longer have questions like “How to cook an omelette in a slow cooker”, the recipe is very easy, I recommend it to everyone.

Omelette with sausage in a slow cooker, step-by-step recipe for a delicious breakfast with photos

Usually an omelette is fried in a frying pan, but if you have a multicooker in your house, you can cook it in it.

You will need a few ingredients to make an omelet:

  • eggs - 2-3 pcs;
  • milk - 100-150 ml;
  • flour - 2 teaspoons;
  • salt - on the tip of the knife;
  • sunflower oil for frying.

There are several secrets to make the omelette tasty and fluffy:

  • Quality ingredients. Use only fresh eggs and milk.
  • Beat separately. The secret to an airy omelet in a slow cooker is to beat the whites and yolks separately. Mix the yolks with milk (water, cream, sour cream, etc.), then gradually add the whipped whites into them.
  • Do not add raw vegetables. Before adding vegetables to the egg mixture, always fry them in oil to release their juices. The tomatoes must first be peeled.
  • Do not open the lid immediately. Otherwise, the omelette will lose its fluffiness; wait 5-10 minutes after cooking.
  • Turn off the heating. Don't forget to turn off the automatic keep warm function.

1. Pour a little sunflower oil into the multicooker bowl. Finely chop the sausage and pour it into the slow cooker. Set the “Baking” mode and time to 20 minutes.

2. While the sausage is frying, pour the eggs into a bowl, add flour and salt. Whisk everything thoroughly until the lumps disappear. Then add milk and beat again.

3. When the sausage is browned, pour the resulting mixture into the multicooker, close the lid and again set the “Baking” mode for 20 minutes. After the multicooker signal, the omelet can be removed from the bowl, cut and sprinkled with herbs or poured with ketchup.

Bon appetit!

We remind you that multicookers have different capacities, so the cooking time may differ slightly from that given in the recipe.
