Mod cutting off limbs. Fatal mutilation

Warning: this mod contains violence within the game 18+

Description:
The main task of this mod is to strengthen and toughen the fight against new animations and effects.
NPCs can die in different ways depending on the cause of death. The mod is currently in serious development

Update: 1.3.4
- Fixed all sorts of errors with violations in animation and scripts during dismemberment
- Restored dismemberment without using a power attack for all melee weapons. Normal fluctuations may not cause instant NPC death, but may result in dismemberment when the actor dies
- Changed sound effects when dismembered, now more “restrained”
- Added the "Slowdown" effect when dismembering (can be configured in the MSM menu - additional option)
- Updated animation movements to be more accurate

- The dismemberment process was slightly changed, which was not performed with a “two-handed weapon”
- Reworked and replaced armor meshes to improve script performance
- Added body and clothing meshes for compatibility with CBBE bodies
- Support for CBBE bodies and armor, armor, clothing for CBBE bodies
- Added shock effects (convulsions, head explosion, charring)

- Added vertical cutting of bodies
- Fixed an issue with Thalmor clothing being split in half. In fact, the cloak and hood can now be worn separately
- Added particle effects and blood splatter for blunt weapon decapitations
- Increased blood effects on the screen, screams and sound effects - soundFX
- Improved performance in scripts and the ability to calculate system optimization
- The chance of dismemberment no longer depends on skills (to improve performance)
- The body is now skinned after looting

- Completely redesigned, optimized and improved kernel script
- Significant improvement in scenes and interaction times
- Injuries are now inflicted for a reason, it will happen randomly, based on the luck, skill and health of the victim
- Improved support and compatibility with Dance of Death.
- Injuries can now be inflicted while running
- Added support for animals
- Added power attacks for cutting in half and crushing heads (two-handed weapon, axe, mace)
- Added the ability to dismember with any melee weapon (beta)
- The lower part of the victim's severed body will appear instantly
- Fixed bugs with Khajiit and Argonian tails

Features of the mod:
- You can cut off hands with any melee weapon
- You can crush the skull with a mace or a two-handed hammer (the brain will fall out and the skull will fly apart)
- You can cut the body in half with a two-handed sword or an ax (legs separately, torso separately, insides out)
- The fire will remain on the burned corpses and will burn much longer
- Frost spell will freeze enemies into a block of ice and you can break the frozen body into pieces

How it works:
The probability of injury is based on average on the fighting skills of One Hand and Two Hands and as you progress and increase your skills in the game
*Will not work if the actor blocks your attack
*Only attack power can trigger bloody death

Moving attack force:
- Swords, axes, daggers, maces, hammer -> cut off a hand
- Large sword, ax -> cut in half horizontally
- Werewolf -> anything is possible

Standing attack power:
- Sword, axe, dagger, great sword, ax - > "evisceration" vertically
- Mace, hammer -> "evisceration" vertically and/or crushing the head
- Werewolf -> anything is possible

Useful information and functionality:
- Works on all NPCs, all human races, except old people, children
- An NPC can only be cut in half if he is wearing one of the supported armors, such as Fur Armor, Elven Armor, Oath Armor, Stealth Armor, Imperial Armor, Iron Armor, Stormcloak Armor and City Guard variants, Necromancer Robe, Sorcerer Robe.
- If the NPC is wearing different armor, he will simply die as usual
- Head scratching, burning, freezing effects can stack and replace each other
- Bodies cut in half or broken into pieces cannot be reanimated

On a note:
This mod will NOT cause a major FPS drop, but high computer performance is recommended

Compatibility:
- Compatible with Dance of death
- Support for alternative mods for blood and blood textures
- Works with custom weapons and spells
- Supports any armor retexture from mods
- Fatal Mutilation does not replace meshes and textures. But it may not fit modified vanilla armor and body textures
- Burn Freeze Shock Effects - may work, but 50x50 conflicts may arise

Incompatibility:
- There will probably be a conflict with mods for changing races. In this case, remember to put Fatal Mutilation at the end of the load order in the launcher

Known bugs:
- NPC wears a suit covering the whole body and head, such as Thalmor clothing, the head will eventually be crushed
- Remnants of body organs may get stuck floating in the air when the game is loaded. Reload your save and everything will fall to the ground as it should
-When you loot corpses, they may disappear for a while before reappearing naked

Requirements:
Skyrim LE 1.9.32.0.8
SKSE 1.07.03
SkyUI 4.1 and higher (not required) only to reset the effects of the mod in case of bugs
CBBE body or vanilla game body without replayer, UNP body is also possible, not full support, but everything should work

Important before installing the mod for the first time:
Make a save game the first time you start Skyrim immediately after installation, otherwise the game may throw you out or NPCs will die
If the problem persists, exit the game and uncheck the .esp file (DO NOT delete)
Load the game and create a new save
Quit the game and then activate the .esp file and load the game
Make a new save and move to another location and save again.
Exit the game and start again and everything should be fine after that

How to upgrade from v0.7 to v1.3.4:
1. Go to an isolated place (preferably inside the house), where there are no NPCs around, living or dead.
2. Also leave your follower outside the premises.
3. Save the game and exit the game
3. Uninstall the old version and enter the game
4. Make a new save again to a clean save and exit the game
5. Install new version
6. Launch Skyrim and boot
7.Do "Reset game effects" in the MSM menu and save

How to update from version v1.3.3 to v1.3.4:
Just update the mod over the previous version
Having entered the MSM menu in the game, you will be asked to check "Reset game effects", check and wait for confirmation of the reset, exit the MSM menu and continue playing or configure the MSM settings for the mod as you wish

Installation:
There are 2 folders in the archive, for vanilla bodies and for CBBE bodies (possible for UNP), select only one option!
1.Make a backup copy of your save (just in case)
2.Place the data folder in the root of the game and activate it in the launcher

The mod makes battles in Skyrim truly exciting, adding many new types of mutilation and dismemberment. The modification does not affect the balance at all; it does not affect the skills, abilities or intelligence of the enemy. With this mod, the death of enemies becomes more brutal, realistic and visually attractive. The death of the characters will depend on the murder weapon. Feel the power of your weapon: dismember, cut, behead. Spill the blood of your enemies, make them scream in pain, crush their skulls with soft brains, disembowel their intestines. Burn them to charred corpses, turn them into blocks of ice and break them into small fragments. Inflict terrible wounds on them with electricity, cause terrible convulsions, maybe even make their head explode from it.

Requirements:

How the mod works:

The chance of dismemberment is configurable in the mod configuration menu (SkyUI), however there are also certain restrictions and conditions for this.

Dismemberment will not work if the character is blocking attacks.

Only force attacks cause mutilation and dismemberment.

Otherwise, it all depends on the weapon you use.

Important:

The effect of the mod will be automatically applied to all new characters, but it may not immediately affect old characters. Only after they are overloaded. Just go further away and when you return everything should be back to normal. If it doesn't work, then reset the player's effects in the mod's settings menu. Make sure you have fully installed the mod. If it still doesn't work, then look at the list of incompatible mods.

Performance:

The mod does not cause a serious drop in FPS, but a good configuration is recommended.

Compatible Mods:

Compatible with Dance of Death

Supports alternate blood textures

Supports armor retextures

Works with new weapons and spells

Fatal Mutilations do not replace any models or textures, but may not fit perfectly with standard armor and body replacers.

Supports XP32, 1HD Full, ATTT, DSpSoB skeletons (patch in a separate archive)

Works together with Locational Damage. But the huge number of scripts being executed affects performance and causes bugs.

Incompatible mods:

The mod conflicts with any skeleton replacers. The game simply won't work.

Conflicts with Bu Freeze Shock Effects by pauderek

May conflict with race modification mods. In this case, set Mortal Mutilation at the very end of loading mods.

The mod can be run together with Dual Sheath Redux (use XP32 skeleton). However, during the test, bugs and a serious drop in performance were noticed. Use both mods together at your own risk.

Known bugs:

Characters wearing a robe that covers the entire body and head will find themselves naked after the head is crushed.

Remains of bodies may float in the air after restarting the game. Another reboot should resolve this issue.

Burnt corpses will look weird with weapons in their hands when raised as zombies.

Corpses you loot may disappear for a second before reappearing naked.

She! All instructions of the new version are similar to this one (except for patches)!

Have you always dreamed of mocking your enemies like in Postal? Rip off their limbs? Burn them to the ground? Unfortunately, the developers did not give the game such an opportunity, but everyone’s favorite modders make wonderful mods for the “thank you”! Here's one of them! It allows you to dismember enemies, burn, freeze and smash! I can say that many of you dreamed of this mod, but due to your inability to use a search engine, you couldn’t find it! Your search is officially over!

  • P.S. This mod does not significantly reduce FPS, but is not recommended on weak systems!
  • P.P.S. Dismemberment only works on two-handed weapons. But it’s a reason to improve this skill (although perhaps it just didn’t work for me with axes from the DLC or just axes).
  • P.P.P.S. I have suspicions that the mod does not work on weapons from the DLC (or simply added by mods).

Updated! Compatibility patches added!

Requirements:

  • Last version of the game, respectively

Important:

  • Make a backup copy of your save just in case!
  • You need to save the game the first time you launch Skyrim immediately after installation. Otherwise the game may throw you out or NPCs will die! If it doesn't work, exit the game and turn off the esp of the mod file! Load the game and create a new save! Exit the game, then activate the .esp file and load the game! Make a new save and move to another location and save again. Exit the game, and then start again!

Installation: Place everything from the DeadlyMutilation v0.91a folder into the Data folder

- Dismemberment will not work if the character is blocking attacks.
- Only force attacks cause mutilation and dismemberment.
Otherwise, it all depends on the weapon you use.

Power attack while moving:
- Sword, axe, dagger, mace, war hammer -> cuts off hand
- Two-handed sword, ax -> cuts in half
- Werewolf -> anything is possible

Power attack on the spot:
- Sword, axe, dagger, two-handed sword, axe -> vertical evisceration
- Mace, war hammer -> vertical evisceration or/and head crushing
- Werewolf -> anything is possible

When you perform a power attack in place, it can result in a moving power attack effect. This is not a bug. It takes the script about a second to realize that the character is not moving.
- Enchanted weapons will reduce the chance of causing injury. Because the enchantment can kill the character before physical damage, thus stopping the script from executing.
- Any character wielding the appropriate weapon can cause injury. But the player must be nearby.
- Injury from magic works constantly, not randomly.

Other useful features and information:
- Works with all characters of all humanoid races, with the exception of the elderly, children, immortals and protected.
- The player is immune to the effects of the mod (causes too many bugs).
- Evisceration, dismemberment, cutting in half is only possible with characters wearing the following types of armor: fur, elven, rawhide, riveted, imperial, iron, Outcast armor, Stormcloak armor, guard armor, necromancer and sorcerer robes.
- Some effects can stack and replace each other.
- It is impossible to resurrect characters cut in half, dismembered and fragmented.
- Head crushing works on any character.
- For the mod to work properly, the Thalmor robe was divided into a hood and a robe.

Important:
The effect of the mod will be automatically applied to all new characters, but it may not immediately affect old characters. Only after they are overloaded. Many hours of game time, picturesque landscapes, countless different items, artifacts and skills, the inspiring music of The Elder Scrolls... This is a series of games that truly evokes admiration among all players and fans of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim.

Have you always dreamed of how to sophisticatedly mock your rivals, but you never had such an opportunity? Now this has become possible thanks to some modifications. Skyrim mod for dismemberment - will allow the player in the game universe to inflict irreparable wounds, and sometimes fatal damage to your sworn enemies.

Thanks to this modification, you can dismember corpses, cut them in half, cut off limbs and enjoy the whole spectacle with beautiful high-quality visualization. The likelihood that you will cause critical damage with a blow will depend on the skills of your character or on a particular melee weapon. Now you can dismember your opponent using magic, or you can use the rather popular classic method - simply burn it. This modification makes battles in the Tamriel universe more spectacular, beautiful, sophisticated with the ability to inflict many different injuries.

The mod in no way affects the balance of the game and all the skills and abilities of the character.

How “graceful” the death of your enemy will be largely depends on the weapon that will be used. Try to appreciate for your own taste the whole variety of murders, mutilations, and dismemberments with this modification. Make your enemies beg for mercy and save their lives.

Damage dealt:

  • A one-handed sword, axe, mace or dagger - you can cut off the enemy’s hands.
  • Two-handed sword, ax - can be cut in half.

How the mod works:

  • The probability of landing a critical hit can be easily adjusted in the mod menu.
  • If the enemy blocks your blow, then dismemberment will not occur.
  • In the guise of a werewolf, anything is possible.

Other useful information:

  1. The modification will work with all characters, regardless of their race (except for old people, children, immortals).
  2. The mod's effects do not affect the main character (this is due to a large number of bugs).
  3. There is no way to resurrect NPCs that you have cut or dismembered.
  4. For stable and correct operation of the fashion, Thalmor clothing was divided.
  5. The effects of the mod can either be superimposed on each other or added together.

Must read:

The effect of the “Skyrim dismemberment mod” will independently spread throughout the entire universe of the game and to all new characters inclusive. However, older characters may not be immediately affected; The mod will only take effect after a complete reboot. You should move away a sufficient distance, and when you return to the same place, everything will return to normal. If this does not help, it is recommended to reset the effect from the player in the modification settings menu. You need to make sure that the mod is fully installed. It is also worth checking for incompatibility with other mods. This mod does not create sudden drops in frames per second.

Modifications with which the “dismemberment effect” is not compatible are presented below:

  1. It will not work correctly with different replicas of character skeletons.
  2. It is also not compatible with mods that change race and appearance. The game simply won't work.
